Help for the Chubby Dude ?

Hey guys - I have seen a lot of good stuff in this room and want a little help.
I have been a chubby kid all my life and am now in my mid 20's - I am considered by many to be a good looking guy, but just have always been a little chubby.
I'm 5'10" and weigh about 210.
My life is hectic with work and it sucks because I find it hard to eat healthy because of this or find time to exercise.

A friend of mine lost about 80 pounds recently by cutting calories and doing a lot of running.

What is the best way to lose some good weight?

Does anyone know good magazines, online sites, etc.. to look?

I really want to do this but do not even know where to start b/c I know my whole lifestyle needs a change.

I want to find out what to eat/how much/etc...

Wake up. Go to the gym. Lift weights 4 times a week. Run 3 miles 4 times a week. Don't eat shit foot, eat 2,000 calories a day, 200 grams of protein. Do that for a year, you will weigh 185 in 365 days.

MTN bike slowly at first if you can......start with maybe 2 mile rides at a slow pace then increase as you build your lactic acid tolerence in your legs you will be able to go longer

eat SMALLER portions...instead of a dinner plate for your meal fill a small coffee cup saucer full of food ..after your mind gets used to you eating smaller amounts you will lose weight as our mind has always told us to eat a full plate ...well eat a full small plate

and watch the sugar and fries I have mantained my weight over the years with this type of diet


breakfast..... Atkins Protein shake and a banana

Snack before lunch >> cup of black coffee

LUNCH ( make this the biggest meal you eat as you will burn it off more then eating a huge meal )

lunch might include...Turkey sandwich/ some veggies as muchas you want ...baked lays chips...1 small cookie ( to kill the crave for sweets) and diet pop or water

DInner ... rasin bran and a piece of wheat toast or half a bagel ..some fruit also ..you could also mix in a small piece of grilled chicken/Fish and veggies if cereal does not work for you




on the weekends I tend to eat a little more but all in all this works for me and has kept me slim
